2007 Institute....See You in St. Cloud!

The Fall Institute Planning Committee has been busy planning the Fall Conference that will be held in St. Cloud this year on October 17, 18, 19, 2007. The Program Committee has secured a variety of speakers. The Keynote speakers will be: Crystal Woodman Miller (Columbine shootings) and Denise Brown - sister of Nicole Brown Simpson. In addition to the keynotes we have 25 other exciting training opportunities for conference attendees.

The Entertainment Committee will host a hospitality vendor sponsored event on October 17, 2007 at the Kelly Inn. MCA will have their own room to recognize the importance of its individual members. Be sure to stop in for a cold drink and good eats. On October 18, 2007 we will have an Oktoberfest Event that will include Bill Koncar on the accordion. We will also be hosting a Texas Hold – Em tournament for the first 100 people that sign up. Then at 9:00 PM - Martin Zellar and the Hardways will be performing. They will play hits from country to rock. Be sure to be on hand to experience this very talented icon in the music industry.

The Resource Fair will be home to many new innovations and programs that exist within the field of Corrections. Please take an opportunity to spend some time in the Resource fair and talk with the vendors. A big thank you to the many vendors that help to make this event as unique as it is. Thank you also to their generous contributions to the Hospitality Night.
