Mission:
The purpose of this committee is to recognize outstanding work, in the corrections field, by individuals, programs and resources.  

Goals:
Annually solicit nominations for:

-         Corrections Person of the Year – for outstanding contributions to the field of corrections in Minnesota by an individual in any employment. Could be clergy, judge, legislator, group home parent, or corrections professional.

-         Professional Achievement – awarded to corrections professionals who have demonstrated achievement over a period of time, but shall not exclude persons new to the field.

-         President’s Award – awarded to programs, resources, or facilities working in the broad field of corrections and criminal justice for demonstrated creativity, resourcefulness, and innovation.
