Membership

MJPS is a division of the Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association which has a single dues system.

What does this mean for you?

If your sheriff is a member of MSA (which all those in Minnesota currently are) you are too! This covers anyone who is a current Sheriff’s Office employee, volunteer, reserve, etc.

Don’t fall into the above category?

If you are a programmer from out of state, a contract employee, etc. and you want to have voting rights and/or hold an MJPS office you should contact MSA www.mnsheriffs.org to become a law enforcement/public safety member. The cost of a MSA membership would be a suggested $25.00 (tax deductible) donation.

What can you expect from MJPS?

• Fall and Spring Conferences on a yearly basis

• Resource sharing with other facilities and professionals.
